Foodie Review: The Cinnamon Snail

When people say "vegan food" what most people think is - grass, salad, leaves, veggies - when it is really so much more. Today I decided to try the award winning organic, vegan food truck, The Cinnamon Snail. photo 3After perusing the menu, I decided to try the: Blue Corn Hempseed Crusted Tempeh - with tomatillo salsa verde, smoked chili coconut bacon, beer simmered onions and garlic, arugula, and chipotle mayo on grilled spelt bread and an apple cider donut.
Naturally I ate the donut while waiting for my food to be cooked. The donut was a cake style donut. It was delicious and moist and tasted exactly like the drink that it was named for. It was the perfect way to start the meal.   As for the sandwich, I could smell how good it was through the bag. The layers of flavor are incredible. The smokey coconut bacon and chipotle mayo give it an amazing heat which is balanced out by the fresh arugula. In total, this sandwich deserves 10 stars!   I plan on returning to The Cinnamon Snail and sampling all their delicious dishes and treats. Here is a video about The Cinnamon Snail and its brilliant owner, Adam Sobel:

I would recommend this food truck to anyone and everyone!
